TGIF and the Research Proposal Presentations are Done ;)
I really enjoyed the process of coming up with an idea for the research proposal! It was refreshing to have such a large range of topics to choose from. At first, I remember thinking "WHOA. We can choose ANYTHING."

And then, we started reading papers. And coming up with ideas. So many ideas.... Too many ideas. How do you choose just one idea???
Slowly, we started cutting down on our proposed projects. It was tough, but we resorted to looking into how feasible the projects were and how much we understood each topic. FINALLY, we picked up project.
BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE! We took that one topic, and found multiple directions we could go in for our proposal. WHAT. A. STRUGGLE. It took a while, but talking to Noreen at office hours and Comm Lab after was suuuuper helpful. After a while, we figured out what to do, and everything went fine from there!
It was a pretty busy week, but my partner and I didn't have too much trouble putting together a presentation because we had thought out our project decently well. It was fun!
Actually presenting was a little stressful (as presenting tends to be) but it was a good experience overall!
