One of the hardest things about this presentation was figuring out which materials I wanted to present on while also keeping mind of the time. The balancing of this was very tedious and I still had to make some last-minute changes (I had to delete a couple slides). However, the journal club presentations made me realize an effective way of presenting. Often times, I would be confused or not interested in presentations due to all the "noise" on a powerpoint. By keeping our slides simple, I realized how valuable this technique is to keep the audience engaged.

The questions were also great. At first, I was nervous that I wouldn't be able to answer some questions. However, once I realized that I probably know more about my paper than most people, I regained my confidence. Also, conceding that I did not know the answer to some questions helped out. Overall this was a great experience and I know that this will help me in future journal club presentations.
